Hand-Drip Coffee Workshop

Origins, technique, and a quieter kind of team session.

A hand-drip (pour-over) workshop teaches participants to brew coffee manually with a V60 dripper — controlling grind, water temperature and pour rhythm to change what ends up in the cup. Tasse Coffee’s two-hour session pairs origin and flavour theory with fully hands-on brewing, and suits teams who want conversation over competition.

What happens in the session

  1. 01

    Origins & flavour

How growing region and processing shape what you taste — with cups to compare, not just slides.

  2. 02

    Tools of the pour

Drippers, filters, gooseneck kettles and scales — what each is for and how to set up.

  3. 03

    Technique

Pour rhythm and pulse pouring (斷水法), temperature and grind size — the levers that change sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

  4. 04

    Extraction & tasting

Brew, compare, adjust, brew again — every participant takes multiple full brews through the session.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is hand-drip better than latte art for our group?

Latte art is livelier and more photogenic; hand-drip is calmer with more tasting and conversation. Mixed-format sessions covering both are our most-booked corporate combination.

Do participants take anything home?

A participation certificate as standard; drip-bag gift sets of our roasts can be added for corporate gifting.
