Latte Art Workshop

Our most requested programme — asked for 446 times since 2021.

A latte art workshop teaches participants to steam milk and pour patterns — hearts, tulips, rosettas — into espresso. In two hours at Tasse Coffee, every participant works a professional machine under accredited trainers and leaves having poured a pattern of their own. It is the single most requested programme across 1,847 organisation enquiries since 2021.

What happens in the session

  1. 01

    Tools & theory

Milk jugs, espresso and milk selection — what actually makes a pattern hold.

  2. 02

    Milk steaming

Texturing microfoam on professional steam wands — the skill that separates latte art from luck.

  3. 03

    Pouring fundamentals

Hand-eye coordination drills for pour position, height and flow.

  4. 04

    Patterns & practice

Hearts first, then tulips and creative pours — we timetable the majority of class time for practice.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do beginners really pour a pattern in one session?

Yes. The syllabus is built for first-timers: with milk-texturing drills first and one trainer per 20 participants, a recognisable heart is a normal first-session outcome.

2D or 3D latte art?

Standard sessions teach free-pour 2D art. 3D foam art and chocolate-pen variants are available on request — schools often book the combined 2D/3D format.

What equipment do you bring for on-site sessions?

Professional espresso machines, grinders, jugs, milk and all consumables — everything except a table, power and water access.
